a place to read my thoughts …it's scary here

The Nowhere West is here, I love it and you can too!

Read my blog and you’ll find out what I’m reading, what my kids are up to and what sermons I’m listening to. I claim that I write, so that I can remember what I’ve read. Meaning that I focus very little on my readership. This is mostly true. I do track number of hits and know that there are a few of you out there reading this thing, so figured I’d talk about something completely off topic.

The Loveblisters have released a new CD and you can get it for free until the 16th. I know what you’re thinking. The Loveblisters? Who are they? Why do I care? To answer those questions, I can only say. I know them personally and the reason you don’t is proof of everything wrong with the music industry today. They’re an indie pop band that was formed like 5 years ago and is just starting to get some press. They have been described this way,

The Loveblisters sound draws from an array of influences including Queen, ELO, the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Scott Joplin, vaudville and turn-of-the-century country and bluegrass.

The new CD is really quite good (and take this from someone that listens to A LOT of music). I’ve been listening to it for quite some time, but now you all can and for free (until Tuesday).

I’m about to name drop for them.

Now are you gonna wait until Tuesday and you have to pay for the CD from itunes or Amazon mp3 or are you gonna go to reverb nation and download it for free today listen to it?

Download here until Tuesday listen now
