I was reading today and had to comment. KTAR ran a Glenn Beck parody about Easter and in fun tried to point a finger at the commercialization of the holiday. However, a quote from it rang in my ears. Here is something he said.

Granted, that made me chuckle, but he’s right. It’s not about some dead guy who’s not dead anymore.

Easter is about the Lord of the Universe, humbling himself to the point of obedience to the Father throughout a life on earth and then death on a cross for me and you. Easter is a celebration that the guy we’re talking about here, was who He said He was. Without Easter, He was just a crazy man. With Easter, He’s God!!! Let’s Celebrate that He was / is God!!!
