Romans 5:6-11   For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

We have so much to be thankful for! Jesus was despised, forsaken, and went to the cross bearing our sins. We all like sheep have gone astray but Jesus has paid our debt. Praise to Jesus Christ who was given in love for us. We have eternity to look forward to singing praises and blessing His name. His love is deep, vast, unmeasured, boundless.  It is truly overwhelming when we see that God’s love is not like our love. God did not see value in us which caused Him to then show us His awesome love. He displayed His greatness by loving us with this great love when we were helpless, godless, sinners. All praise should be rendered from shore to shore unto such a great God. We must remind ourselves of what we deserve which is nothing! What a treasure we have in Christ and what a privilege we are given to be able to worship through song together. We must all remember that how we worship privately affects how we worship corporately!
